Purpose and vision

Family

The Domaine des Trois Tilleuls project, led by Myriam and her son Tanguy, aims to ensure the sustainability of the estate while honoring its history. The transmission of heritage involves each generation and requires a certain inventiveness to best reconcile human, economic, and ecological imperatives while maintaining family cohesion and roots.

This family adventure is led by Myriam, who warmly welcomes you to her estate, and Tanguy, her son, who is dedicated to ensuring the quality of your stay and the development of Domaine des Trois Tilleuls.

Preservation of Historical Heritage

Rooted in history since the 13th century, the estate has evolved from a seigneury to a farm before becoming a family home.
The Domaine des Trois Tilleuls spans over fifteen hectares, alternating between woods and meadows, in a rolling landscape that adds to its charm. At its heart lies the site known as Vieux Châtelet, opening the gates to a private fortress built in the 13th century.
A true witness to Villers-la-Ville’s medieval past, its history is closely tied to that of the Cistercian abbey. Situated just a few kilometers apart, 800 years of history connect these two monuments, which still bear witness to this rich past today.
The current main building, built in the early 18th century, was completely renovated in the late 1960s by Myriam’s parents.

Commitment to nature

The estate is also dedicated to regenerating local biodiversity, demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental protection. This is achieved through sustainable forestry practices. Through tree and hedge planting as well as respectful practices, Domaine des Trois Tilleuls aspires to be a model of a harmonious ecosystem where humans and nature coexist peacefully.
